Our Requirements to Start a SHEMROCK Play School or Primary School

To help you begin your journey smoothly, we have outlined the essential requirements for starting a SHEMROCK Play School or a SHEMROCK Primary School. These guidelines ensure that every SHEMROCK centre maintains the quality, safety, and learning environment that parents expect from us.
Requirements for Starting a SHEMROCK Play School
Opening a SHEMROCK Play School is a rewarding business opportunity that does not require very large infrastructure. Below are the minimum requirements:
1. Space Requirement
Minimum 1500 sq. ft. built-up area
Preferably on the ground floor
A layout similar to a 3 BHK house works very well
Should be located in a densely populated residential area, ensuring easy access for parents
2. Investment Requirement
Approximate investment: ₹8–10 lakhs
(Excluding building/real estate costs)Covers interiors, learning resources, marketing essentials, furniture, equipment, safety features, and setup support
3. Additional Preferences
Safe and child-friendly surroundings
Easy road access and sufficient parking area
Outdoor space is an added advantage but not mandatory
Requirements for Starting a SHEMROCK Primary School
Primary schools require a more structured infrastructure as per state education board norms. Here’s what you need:
1. Space Requirement
Minimum 5000 sq. ft. built-up area
Should include spaces as required by the respective State Education Board norms, including:
Classrooms
Library
Computer Lab
Dance Room
Art & Craft Room
This area allows you to comfortably start and operate a SHEMROCK Primary School with the right learning ambience.
2. Investment Requirement
Approximate investment: ₹18–20 lakhs
