If you wish to spend some time with your kids and at the same time wish to enhance their creativity, there is no better way than telling them kids’ stories. Since kids are easily taken by the stories of imaginative creatures like goblins, dwarfs, wizards, etc. this is the best way to connect to them and be a part of their creative world.
Telling kids’ stories to the young ones serves various purposes. The first and the most important purpose is that you can make good use of the time that you spend with your kid. This story time is a good way to express your love to your child. Either of the parents can spend time with the child which will serve a dual purpose. The child will also be able to learn various kinds of expressions. Happiness, excitement, joy, fear, excitement, etc. are some of these emotions that kids learn to express.
Through kids’ stories, parents can also impart values to the children. Stories that have morals can be told to the kids so as to impart lessons which will be important to them in life. However, it is important that parents do not read out in a boring manner to kids. To gain the interest of kids while narrating the stories, use of hands, pictures, various colours, etc. is important.

i agree with the utility of children-centric stories. however, i feel that there are many other contemporary titles besides the classic ones that you have mentioned. going beyong the traditional titles seems like a more comprehensive approach to keep the kids interested

Stories are the best way to nurture the moral values in a child.
I do agree with the fact that the roleplay stories should be narrated with all the required expressions.
Stories should be an important part of a Kids Art Crafts Class.
