Summer is a beautiful season when flowers blossom, birds chirp and people are happy in their own little ways. Let your child do something new and different with friends or alone.

Summertime is Fun-time. Here is a list of fun things for this summer:

Watch the sunrise

Clean your room

Change something in or add something to your room

Have a bubble bath

Decide to pick up one good habit, and follow it

Plant flowers in your yard

Go on a walk and take pictures of trees, flowers, dogs, etc

Do 25 jumping jacks

Buy some magazines, pick out some really cute outfits, and try to recreate them for yourself

Make a collage out of old magazines

Make a card for a friend

Look through old family scrapbooks, photo books.

Make a kite and take it for a ride

Make a CD of your favourite songs and title it "The soundtrack of my life"

Buy some crayons and a coloring book

Create a summer safety poster

Learn how to define and spell 5 new words.

Solve Jigsaw puzzles

Gather up a few friends, and have a picnic in your back

Bead some bracelets and sell them for charity

Splash around in a plastic kiddy pool

Play with water balloons
