Little Jack Horner
     Sat in the corner,
Eating a Christmas pie;
     He put in his thumb,
And pulled out a plum,
      And said,
What a good boy am I!

Little Jack Horner was not a good boy at all ! He was a messenger boy for a bishop. In olden days, it was common to hide things in pies and the bishop sent jack to present a pie to the king, which had the deeds to 12 estates. On the way, Jack Horner stole the deed to the Manor of Mells, a"plum" estate ! and even today, the Horner family lives in that estate ! wow !
