Colours have an important role to play in children's lives and this was highlighted by no less than 3000 children on a single stage at "Magicolours"- Annual function of Shemrock Group of Schools in association with Tatasky. Firstly the children welcomed everyone with 'Welcome Song', prayed for unity in diversity from all religions, sang various unique rhymes with expressions, which was widely appreciated by the audience. They dramatized to the role of child waking up to her world of colours. Every colour was presented in a different item. The first colour introduced was red - showing anger, love as the emotions associated with it. This was followed by blue which had a dance number around the water colour theme. Yellow followed with children showing the sunshine and the happy faces of the cute children ! Then the mixing of colours was depicted showing the other colours ...and finally cumulating into a multi-coloured holi dance at the end where all the colours mixed through a multi coloured dance performance !

These children, who are expected to be their mother's trail, had performed so well on such a big stage in front of a large audience. These little steps simply showed their confidence and preparation to face the challenges in this world.

Dr. (Mrs.) B. Arora, the founder director of Shemrock, guided parents on the subject of the formal school activities and routines. She gave them an insight into the child’s adjustments in the senior school and advised them to spend quality time with their children and give them good values and culture.
