IGNOU admission for MBA in Banking and Finance

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications for admissions to its MBA programme in Banking and Finance for January 2013 session. The last date to submit the filled-in application form for the programme at the concerned Regional Centre is December 20, 2012 and by post is December 5, 2012.

The MBA (Banking & Finance) Programme, specifically designed for Bankers, is offered through countrywide network of Study Centres of IGNOU. Developed collaboratively by School of Management Studies, IGNOU and the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), Mumbai, the programme uses standard IGNOU multi-media design and technology aided delivery systems.

In order to seek admission to this Programme, a candidate should: (a) be a graduate of a recognised University, (b) have passed the CAIIB examinations of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, Mumbai and awarded the requisite qualification/credentials thereof by the Institute, and (c) have been working in the Banking or Financial Service Sector for a period of at least two years.

‘Student Handbook & Prospectus’ can be obtained from Registrar, Student Registration Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110068 or from any of the IGNOU Regional Centres whose addresses are listed in the website, in person on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) in cash or through post by sending an IPO/Demand Draft of Rs.550/- (Rupees five hundred fifty only) drawn in favour of ‘IGNOU’ payable at the city from where the Prospectus is requested.

The application can also be downloaded from IGNOU website at http//: www.ignou.ac.in and submitted along with a DD/IPO for Rs.500/-, in addition to the Programme fee.
